Hey, thanks for posting that!
Yeah I just listened to Undone again and it's definitely his best version imo. (I listened to the Modesto one too).

Hey, thanks for posting that! Yeah I just listened to Undone again and it's definitely his best version imo. (I listened to the Modesto one too). I will listen later today. But I was definitively thinking while he was doing Undone that I really like what he is doing to the song this time. I wonder if he recorded it. There are already a lot ballads so I dont know if I would record it, eventhough it isn't bad.

Great gig, but sorry to hear Casey is coming down with a "bug" Sure hope he can hunker down til next week, with such a full schedule - dang! **off to tweet "healing" thoughts** I missed your post earlier. Casey has got a lot do now, so I hope his voice is okay. It makes me wonder about the recording. ^^^about the album recording? They would postpone it, wouldn't they, if his voice was scratchy? btw, thanks so much for your coverage, Boudica. I rely on this board for all my updates so appreciate all your effort

Agree, Undone has evolved into a suuweet ballad. I always liked it, (makes me think of people who made "me come undone" ) but agreed that there were times when Casey's voice sounded forced. Now? Just yum!

Wow I like what he has done to undone. My guess is he has recorded it since he has changed it up

Wow I like what he has done to undone. My guess is he has recorded it since he has changed it up Possibly. It takes him a while though to get a song just right. He might still be working on it. Think about how long it took him for Drive - or even changing the arrangement of So Sweet so late in the game. But at the same time - yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if it's on the album. He's been playing it steady for a while now, and even electrified it too. In one of the interviews this week, he was saying that one thing he learned while making the album is that a song that you think will make the cut very early on can end up not making it after all because the album evolves, changes and the song no longer fits with the rest of them. (Of course I immediately feared for a fav of mine, Til My Guitar - but I don't think so. I hope not).

I actually like why I am feeling blue better then till my guitar but with production that may change

^^^ It's the guitar part on Til My Guitar that I think can be amazing post-production. I remember one time, he played it without Billy his keyboard man and people who were at the concert were raving about it. Unfortunately, we only got a partial video of it: www.youtube.com/watch?v=228WlCa-QKU&feature=player_embedde

I actually like why I am feeling blue better then till my guitar but with production that may change I dont know it is tricky between these two. I like the music and vibe of Till my guitar more, but the problem is lyrics like "played until my finger bleed" has been waaayyy over done. Lyrically Why I am feeling blue is more interesting, I think it might make the album simply because it sounds quite country, it is definitely one that falls into the country category. But I like I like it. But there are just to many ballad, in my opinion, it wouldn't be great to have an album that is half ballads. Therefore I am wondering if there are perhaps up tempo songs we haven't heard yet. Or perhaps Shine your shoes can make the album that would be a nice one for Casey.
