Ha Ha.
You know reading pulse how it seems people are tired of beer and tailgate songs. They are starting to go overboard with them. Boads good for Casey because he will never sing about beer. lol

But to be honest I dont thing Pulse are always a good representation of the more general country fan.

Will it I doubt it but david nail stayed on for 53 weeks Well who know, at this junction Casey has already been there for 35 weeks another 17 isn't that much in charting terms. But I hope Casey can just reach the top 20 stay there a bit and move up a bit and then we can get his next single. But if LDCIAN stays on there for longer I am not going to complain about it.

Or lets put it this way, if the songs from Graig Morgan and Chris Cagle can keep on moving up, then I dont see why LDCIAN cant keep on moving up either.

Well if Casey stayed on the chart that long it will mean he will have a song close to number one so I dont think that will happen.
The one thing I agree with windmills on is when I listen to a song it is a t20 t10 song and so on. I think if Casey makes the top 20 this song will have well out performed where it should of went. I can listen to a song and pretty tell where it will end up but ldcian has suprised me.

That is more up to personal opinion, at the end of the day it is for radio to decide if they want to keep on playing a song or not. Personally I dont think it has much of anything to do with the song it is more about the amount of goodwill you have or how much goodwill you can built up. And I dont think Windmills ever said straight out that the song will not make the the top 20.

Nope she never said that. I was just repeating what she says about songs and how they will do. Some songs will suprise me but for the most part listening to country radio for so long its predictable. When i heard kip moore for the first time I was like that is going top five if not number one. There is a song out by a new artist named thomas rhett. I heard it for the first time today and I was I was like that song is going to go far. For me its not so much about personal opinion radio is just for the most part predictable.

Well this sucks. Number 50 on hdd sold 8424 so Casey isnt on the final numbers. Guess we will have to wait for official numbers.

I agree with you, Bigmjfan, about the predictability of country radio songs and how it's almost simple to predict what will be a hit and/or not. That's what I love about Casey's music - even though the album cuts aren't super-professional, his music has a quality that fits "country," but has the ability to open the genre up to something brand new. I could really be reaching, but that's my reasoning as to why LDCIAN has remained on the charts for so long. People are intrigued.

Not horrible but soemthing will need to be done to get those numbers up until he gets LDCIA more airplay or a really good second single gets released. Otherwise he will be like Kellie P for a while.
