I love LBT but I dont like pontoon at all. Havent really heard the greg bates song. Its not that hard for me to listen to a song and know about where it will peak when you take into consideration the artist and the label. From the very first listen of Something bout a truck I new that would be huge. I got that feeling with COAS from the first listen. I said that is the stuff number ones are made of.It would of been fun to have something really rock but COAS is special. Hopefully my gut will pan out.

Ha I listen to country music all day so its not to hard. But there are no guarantees. There are so many things that can mess that up. But in saying that COAS has the goods to be that song.

Something about a truck is not my thing but I can see why it is popular. It is a clever song. It was also the first time I listened to Carrie Underwood's song, I am surprised more people aren't complaining about that one, she was clearly targeting a crossover audience. But that just shows you when you are well known you can get away with anything.

Yep when your a superstar you can take more chances with your music. Here is my little thing on how you can for the most part predict how a song will do.
If your a star with number hits all over the place unless the song is just horrible its probably going to be number one or close.
If your not quite a star this is how I look at things. First I listen to the song. Then you look at the artist. Are they a new artist on a tiny label. If so they are probably going to struggle. If your a established hitmaker say like Craig Morgan on s tiny label you will probably have some success. But mostly I first hear a song and then kind of break it down from there.

Oh I was just thinking. If Casey didnt shoot the single artwork for COAS yet he is going to look so good.

Casey's stylist did a good job this time, not just chopping off the bottom, but tapering from back-to-front, and keeping the front all the same length, not layered. Maybe some texturizing - his hair is so thick. Anyway, even tho its short, it shakes out nicely when he tosses his head (yeah, Im "into" hair:)) I don't know if its the teeshirts or what, but Casey looks a tad more buff thru the shoulders and arms - nice. Yeah, may seem trivial to some, but his look IS a part of the whole package, lets face it:D

Its really just about having tshirts that fit well. I mean even guys need clothes that fit. Even as ladies you know we feel better when we look great. You carry yourself different. I dont put on makeup every morning but when I do and every hair is in place and I have pretty clothes on I feel better and carry myself different. ^^^Yeah, and Casey seems to thrive in warmer weather - gets some sun, peals off the winter outerwear, brings out the teeshirts:D

He still gets to keep those nice curls and you can see his face more!
