I wonder how many of these he wrote or are songs from other songwriters. I was wondering about the cowriters, too. At first listen, these do seem a little more mature, and much more Texas. I would like to see some thematic variation. Surely something other than girls occasionally crosses Casey's mind. At this point, that's a minor quibble, but I hope I'm not still thinking it when the CD comes out.

I hope so too, I think they gonna release it while CJ is recording the new stuff and see if it sticks in there it's a bonus for him of course I think it will be a hit ;D This is my plan. And if Drive hits number one in just a few weeks and none of the new stuff is ready, they can shoo LTWYMM out from under the porch and see if it'll hunt. It's good to be prepared. ;D Sometimes it's good to be dreamy I do rememebr that LTWYMM had good sales when the album was released also great reaction even from some radio DJs .

I think it is all going to depend on when coas peaks. With these songs being so good if coas hangs on awhile they may just go with the lead single from a new cd. Once he has the songs it doesnt take a ling time to record. I want to see better production also. I live some of the cool production of Carrie Underwoods current cd and lbt.

I also think that LTWYMM is the closest sounding to LDCIAN and would make a great close-out to the current era, sort of coming full-circle. But not at the expense of Drive. Fallin' Too Hard is my new favorite! Love, love, love it!!!!!

Casey's so good live that I think the LBT guy would be a great fit for him. He really captured LBT's concert sound. And Casey would have the chance to learn from someone new. Baby learns fast.

COAS will likely peak somewhere on Feb. ( probably on March if Sony insists on pushing and be so greedy for a top10 settlement ) , so a March announcement ( April announcement ) / April ( May ) add date is likely . I have that great feeling about Drive . Hey y'all!!! Casey's general thoughts were that he sees "Drive" as a spring/summer kind of song. If COAS can hold out a bit longer it has to be a GO! It will take a couple of months at least for it to climb into top 20 making a late Feb/early March drop date PERFECT timing!

Jay Joyce who is also the producer of Eric Church's albums . he has worked with a lot of artists and songwriters - producers like the Warren Brothers ( who co-written Drive with Casey )

I'm so happy to finally hear some of the new stuff. I love She's My Girl -- sounds very radio friendly to me -- and Woman's Touch, which sounds like ZZTop. Casey's guitar playing is actually getting better and there wasn't that much room for improvement there. I really, really liked That Girl too. So far no bad ones. Of course, their weren't any bad ones last time, either and that just meant that I ended up missing all the ones that didn't make the album. And I'm still not over that. But, new music!!!!!!! And Drive, probably!!!!! ;D ;D ;D THANKS Caseyfan! BTW, The Daytona 500 is February 24th. Timing-wise. I'm just sayin'. ETA: just heard Run Away and Breakin' Through the Blue. Two more good 'uns. My-oh-my does Kurrasch get his sexy on or what in BTTB?! Geez Louise he's good. David Kurrasch is SOOOO underrated! I was so close to him I could scratch his back. Casey on acoustice with David on the steel for "Fallin' Too Hard" was KILLLLLLLLER!!!

Fallin' Too Hard? Guuuhhhhhhh! Thank you so much for all the vids!

COAS should have made top 15 on both charts by then. Just tryin' to be helpful...

The very best song of the night was "Done Made Up My Mind". The crowd was stunned by his performance. Really, they were shocked in awe like they could not believe what they had just heard!!! I CANNOT believe they did not record it!!! Any chance of it making the second album? They could country it up a bit Jason Aldean style. He needs some rockin' tunes. He had a bunch of mid tempo. I am a little biased on this one because is my all time favorite. Not to mention he was so kind to have dedicated it to me last night! "Drive" was SO amazing. It is just a shame the way they recorded it! I wonder if they will do anything about it? Maybe the vid could be a live performance?? What did y'all think of the vids? I am not too tech savvy, but I think the sound was decent enough to be able to get the jist! Sorry they weren't better. FYI, there was a cloud of fog/smoke that they were emitting all night (even for the opener) that made photos and vids unclear. I actually got a sore throat breathing it in!! Blech! There should be some great videos from Billy Bob's next weekend. I bet he will have a few more new songs, too. Who knows what he really has, though. Last time it was 60 or so songs. I bet only a few of these make the new record. I can write up a more detailed version of last night if y'all are interested....
