I'm kinda a sucker for the slow, heartfelt songs too. I have to think a bit on this question though.

Shari, it's so funny that our top two are the same!
As far as fast rock songs, you only had two to choose from: Done Made Up and Drive.

My top 5:
1. Drive 2. Hold On 3. I Lied 4. Done Made Up My Mind 5. Show Me a Bridge
The first three hit me the first time I heard them. Done Made Up My Mind was more of a slow burn for me, but I really love it now. As for the #5 spot, depending on my mood that had been a revolving door for Let's Don't Call It a Night and Til My Guitar. Now Show Me a Bridge has been added to the mix.

Welcome aboard , yankeegirl46 Y'all do have great taste. My top five: 1. Show Me A Bridge 2. Done Made Up My Mind 3. Hold On 4. Drive 5. Bulletproof Finally someone has given bulletproof its credit!! lol seriously , that song is really catchy old school country / honky-tonk ! you don't see that style much anymore in country . Both George Strait & Alan Jackson did that tune & it was a smash hit!! I believe that with good production & if the song makes the final cut ( praying ) it will be really critics darling!! b/c of the uniqueness of that song! ;D

I've seen people say that a lot about Done Made Up My Mind. I love it, and I think it has anthem-like potential in the long run, so I'm always happy to see another DMUMM convert.

Bulletproof reminds me just a little bit of All Shook Up and Dixie Chicken. DC's better, mind you, but I've seen lots of younguns fall in love with it over the years, so I think there'll always be a market for that sort of music. Maybe not on the radio, but I hope so. I can easily see Bulletproof and Done Made My Mind being concert favorites for years to come whether they get radio play or not. I'm honestly delighted with what we've heard from Casey so far, and I think he's only just starting to hit his stride as a song writer. As he develops more confidence lyrically, he's going to get better and better.

^^ I think Casey is surprising people by his song-writing not just his awesome guitar work & amazing ability on arranging the songs!! I always believed in him! but I can say now that he exceeded my expectations by far!! I think he is doing everything! A lot of styles! a record I can say it's country not just marketed to country! but it's his own special thing! with good quality & also catchy tunes & can be radio friendly at the same time!! GO CASEY Now I only need a Bluegrassy song!
