The lyrics of Why I am feeling blue is being discussed in the other thread, it nice lyrics. I have only listened to the song once but the melody sounded a lot like Show me a bridge. I dont know if anyone else thought the same thing.
I've also only listened to Undone once. Both of these songs didn't really pull me in. But I would like to Casey perform them somewhere else, I think they didn't really work in the Billy Bob's setting.
But I like She's Money.

Lyrically , Why Am I Feeling Blue is really great! People likes she's money the most from the recent new songs because it's fast , playful song with incredibly catchy guitar riffs ! & I agree with that ! But as you said I'm interested to see Undone & Why am I Feeling Blue with full band! Hey Boudica , looks like momma James replied to your comment at CJblog ( the fav. songs post )

^^Agree! Love both those song. 'think they have A LOT of potential. I think they're so new that Casey hasn't put his magic spin on them yet. Heck, he was reading the lyrics of Undone off a tablet! Sometimes I wish he would wait instead of rushing to intro new songs. I get he had to fill out a set but...

Does anyone know if this means it's the likely first single? Or maybe it's out there for someone else to cover?
I wonder why it's the only one listed so far.

That is very interesting. That could be the case. Casey would need to register it before he releases it. Will be interesting to see if So Sweet shows up soon and the other one.

That's must be true especially considering the timing , but at the same time it could mean nothing . As for kachin's second Q. , no it's not the first , it's probably the 7th or the 8th one! they already listed Till My Guitar & the Aimee Mayo & Chris Lindsey ones! and the Warrens , & the Beavers too . it doesn't mean that they'll be in the album tho , lots of registered songs arn't recorded yet! it just depends on the writers of the song . Good thing he has a page as a composer / song-writer , they added his page not a long time ago , I think last month .

Hmm very interesting I wonder if it could be the single.
Has anyone listened to the version from Billy Bob's? I listened to it today and there is now more of a bridge in the song, it sounds good.

^^ I loved it from the first time ( wasn't at the top of the list ) , I really love it even more more , I think the faster version is more interesting & has a stronger hook! .

is it possible also that once a song is recorded and mixed and done that is when the song goes up on that site. I dint see anything on the bmi site yet. Is this one a different site or is this the first song showing up

^^ No , they can register a song immediately after writing it & it could never been recorded at all , because simply it won't make the cut ! those websites ( BMI , ASCAP , Sony/ATV , .... etc. ) are royalties companies . a writer from one of those companies can register any song he wrote / co-wrote to protect his rights in that song . Several of Casey's songs showed up on ASCAP too .

So, what's the advantage? To Casey? To the recording company? To the cowriters? (Hey, Kachina

^^ Nothing! registering is just to get the copy rights of the song! so they'll get their royalties if it is recorded or performed or used ... ( as far as I know . trying to find some sources about this )
