Its sad but also exciting and scary all in one. I mean if a second single doesnt do as well as ldcian it wont be good. But I have confindence that it will. Whichever one it is will be way better then ldcian. But sometimes that dont matter. It is sometimes just a timing thing. If I had a crystal ball and knew for sure that Casey's second single would do even better, I would be more excited than sad. But since we don't know for sure, it is always a bit of a nail biter thinking of it!

Yes. There is no guarantees. But this had to happen in order for a new song to come out. There was always going to be a little bit of a break in between signles no matter how long LDCIAN stayed on the charts. Its sad but also exciting and scary all in one. Oh really. That station probably just played it when they were talking about his cd. I am pretty confident it will be drive or crying on a suitcase. I am leaning towards drive because it is way different then LDCIAN and it might be better to go with somthing really fun and upbeat after ldcian.

Yep COAS is a challenge to do acoustic but with Blaine at his side it makes it a little easier. I just think he needs to show his cards and drive really does that. Then they can release COAS.
I hope we arent in suspense to long.It will be fun to see if it gets any radio play before the official ad date.

Hopefully, Sony won't fiddle around too long and we get word of what its going to be. As you've said before too, Drive would be such a great song for the summer.

I hope they dont. I will be concerned about it until I see the ad date. Kellies song is just geting started and they need to work on her a bit. And I am still ticked at the whole Kellie Clarkson thing. RCA nashville is helping with promotion and Gary O was in a photo op with her. If you want to release a song to country then release a new song that is country. My guess is Caseys offcial ad date will be mid to late May. But they can work radio before that.

I can understand Sony wanting to take care of Kellie P, but it ticks me off about the Kelly Clarkson song!

It is really unfair to other artists who are working hard to make it in their genre

This was posted by jholmes over at pulse replying to the fact Wade Bowen will be getting a cd out. This will have to change and what worries me. I still say they waited for Kellies single because of Casey. If he has to wait 3 months for a new single I will be so pissed.
I hadn't heard any of Wade's music until "Saturday Night". I LOVED that song, and thought it could go at least top 20, but it kinda got lost in the shuffle. Plus, BNA has never really had more than 2 artists do well at the same, pretty much. So they had Kenny doing well, like usual, but were also hard at work promoting Casey James' LDCIAN and they also had Tyler Farr's "Hot Mess" coming out (not gonna go anywhere) and were laying the groundwork for Kellie Pickler's "100 Proof".
