Sticking to my dislike of Danny Gokey look at the crowd or lack there of at the first concert he did on the TS tour lol twitpic.com/5edndnOh now that's just embarrassing. How do you not turn around, pack up and go home? He IS a bore, tho.

Water, I missed you on IDF - have a different name there. Pleeez - what was the unpopular opinion? Whew! A lot of history was the problem and it all finally came to a head where you barely said anything and people were getting bent out of shape. Like Meme says, it's history and all good. So let's see what we can stir up, all in clean fun

Hm. Interesting. Casey writes a lot about regret, missed opportunities, etc.: Done Made Up My Mind, Show Me a Bridge, covering I Got Mine, all with some commonalities. 'working something through, my guess:) Maybe something to do with his newly budding spirituality, or just maturity:) What say ye?

Well, to me it means, for example, if I had missed an important opportunity due to pride or stubbornness or whatever, and later realized after gaining a clearer perspective, that that was a "burned bridge" or something I couldn't go back and fix or re-visit and I would have regret. Can't speak for Casey exactly. How does it speak to you?

Water, I tried to be really positive over there - my name was amazing, remember me? I was very active for a long time, but kept hitting my head against the wall and leaving. I did my best to support Casey there, but it was very frustrating, glad to be here, though I haven't figure out how to register yet. I think I am just a guest right now.

for me it's about a guy who has a history of putting his own needs (maybe his career) above those who he is in a relationship with, finds himself in a relationship with a person he cares about, and is afraid of repeating his past

^^ I agree with this! Although to speak the truth , I don't really look beyond the lyrics that much , but for me , Show Me A Bridge is a KILLER ! Lyrically , it's one of the most "original" song Casey has written ( co-written ) . I'm really interesting to hear the produced song , the strucute of the song is a traditional Country , but it's soulful . I hope it'll be more stripped down / Acoustic ! JMHO! of course .

Yes, I remember you and sympathize with your frustration! So glad we all found our way over here so hang in there until you figure out how to register. Isn't there a "register" option available when you arrive? I used my idf name so didn't have to. Maybe use "Amazing" then change your name once you get in? Meme, BurnthisMedia, help?

I don't think one has to be male, tho, to experience it. Maybe you're young or lucky (?) because it's painful/anxiety-provoking/scary. I'm female but also have some years/life experiences under my belt and can say I've felt that way on more than one occasion. Luckily, I've also come out the other side and later realized those opportunities do come around again (sometimes fortunately, sometimes not - hehe), maybe in the form of someone/something else but they do come back around, you can count on that, so, well, I will leave it at that because those feelings are what inspire songs and who am I to dispel them?

Oh Beans I am glad that is you.
I just want to support Casey in whatever he does. And yes I want him to have big success. Altough I am so excited he went into my fav genre I would of supported him in whatever genre or music he decided to do. I would not of been going around saying whatever the genre was wasnt him. I dont get the infactuatin with is country or not. Anyway that is water under the bridge and I am ready for Casey to be a star.

Of course I care about lyrics & the "feel" of them! but what inspires Casey is a totally different thing! IMO it's a bit personal , we may know or not! 'K enough over-analys from me I'll just enjoy the music! different strokes for different folks !
