I just read through all of them. Poor Lee :)And Taylor Hicks peak cracked me up up. It was being on the cover of peoples magazine hottest bachelor. Ha Ha. I cant believe Casey didnt have any lows. Lol yes I was expecting something about him taking off his shirt, it is cool that he hasn't got any lows yet, according to Rolling Stone mag I think it was basically only Casey and Danny Gokey who didn't have any lows.

I see someone said the songs sounds normal run of the mill. Now I know I am obviously a biased fan and all and I dont know a lot about country, but really I haven't seen a lot of other country songs like these.

LOL I just wanted to get people interested again who dont go on Caseys forum. You can tell that one post was just a fan of someone else and never liked Casey.

You never know there may be two people who really like what Caseys putting out music wise or are remined that his music is coming. Even if it is just a few that might buy his cd its ok. Everyone one counts as a sale

That whole forum and MJ's and basically all of these idol places are in their own little clicks and dreamy world's. If you observe closely you will see that they all basically share the same opinion because that is what is "cool" in the underwritten idol laws. There are many posters there (and some who I even like a lot) that change their opinions just as easily as a new forum trend comes along. Which is cool, I guess it is sometimes nice to belong to a group and think alike I can understand that, but I personally will never be one of those people. My point is that Casey has never fitted in with their idea of an idol contestant, so most of them are basically never going to like to like him. Except if Casey manages to score a bit of success, then it would of course be purely because of idol. It would have been really interesting if those people could just have given us an honest assessment of what they think about Casey's new music I would really like to get honest opinions from people who are not fans. I would have really liked to see that. Bigmjfan it was a nice idea, perhaps we should also post the songs that are actually going to be considered as singles. I am sure there where atleast some people who are interested but who might not be the posting types. Anyways I am still hoping that we might get some feed. But when it comes to the idol mentality in general and their attitude towards Casey (in general) we have a great saying for it "Moenie jou perels voor die swyne gooi nie'. Which very loosely translates to something like dont wear your pearls when you are going to feed the pigs.

Boudica , I agree ! make sure to post the good vids even though the real goal is how to esablish yourself in your genre & build up a fan base outside the bubble . & I'll keep updating the thread with info. , just to see the reactions !

Biblically: "Don't cast your pearls before swine" - good call Lol I feel a bit silly now but that is what happens if you constantly mix two languages you forget which saying are similar and which are completely different, it becomes almost one language in you head. Although I will say that my native tongue does have quite a few variations on that particular phrase. Boudica , I agree ! make sure to post the good vids even though the real goal is how to esablish yourself in your genre & build up a fan base outside the bubble . & I'll keep updating the thread with info. , just to see the reactions ! Oh I thought someone else might post them, okay I will post them later on. I dont listen to those two songs that much so I would first have to think which videos are good versions of that songs. Anyways, I was reading a few threads in that section specifically who is the best rock idol, and what a laugh. They build arguments around Nickelback being played on rock radio. Nickelback hasn't been played on rock radio for a few years now. lol I am genuinely convinced that idol fans sometimes just dont really know that much about current rock. On the David Cook thread on there they once again blame rock radio for not playing David Cook, when the truth of the matter is simply that his sound doesn't fit into rock radio.
